Reece Performance Model (RPM)
Performance development that goes beyond physical training
At Reece Performance Model (RPM), we believe true performance development goes beyond physical training. Elite athletes are not built through strength and skill alone, they are shaped through mindset, discipline, learning, and culture.
Our model integrates sports performance, athletic development, sport psychology, and academic excellence to support athletes in reaching their full potential both on and off the field.
RPM provides a structured environment where athletes can grow in confidence, develop mental resilience, and strengthen the habits required for long-term success.
A holistic framework for complete development
The Reece Performance Model focuses on a holistic framework designed to support the complete development of athletes. Through guided training, mental skills education, and collaborative coaching support, RPM helps athletes strengthen their competitive mindset while reinforcing strong academic and personal values.
Our programs integrate:
- Sport Psychology Training – Mental performance strategies that improve focus, confidence, and resilience.
- Athletic Development – Structured systems designed to enhance performance and competitive readiness.
- Academic & Athletic Balance – Reinforcing the importance of education alongside sport development.
- Performance Culture – Creating environments that encourage discipline, accountability, and growth.
By aligning these elements, RPM ensures that athletes develop the mental stability, technical awareness, and leadership qualities necessary to succeed in competitive sport environments.
Built on direct work with developing athletes
RPM’s foundation is built on direct experience working with developing athletes in structured sporting environments. Through workshops, athlete mentorship, and program design, our approach has supported youth athletes in strengthening both their performance mindset and personal development.
Key areas of experience include:
- Delivering sport psychology workshops for youth cricket teams within the Barbados Cricket Association across the U13, U15, U17, and U19 levels, as well as women’s youth programs.
- Providing mental performance support to contracted athletes through both on-field sessions and individual consultations.
- Designing curriculum-based mental skills programs that complement long-term athlete development pathways.
- Collaborating with coaches to integrate sport psychology principles into coaching practice.
- Facilitating applied sessions that combine psychological training with sports pedagogy.
Supportive environments help athletes perform and develop
One of the most important aspects of athlete development is creating an environment where athletes feel supported, respected, and empowered to grow. RPM emphasizes the importance of psychological safety and constructive dialogue as part of the development process.
Athletes often perform best when they feel confident in expressing challenges, exploring new strategies, and developing resilience through guided support.
Our goal is to provide a space where athletes can stabilize their mindset, strengthen their identity as competitors, and continue progressing toward their goals.
